Titanium suns are here!
By now we all know that we still need to protect our eyes from the sun in the winter months. Sometimes the sunnies we lived in all summer don’t jive with sweater weather. With that in mind, we’ve released two new all-titanium sun styles to get you through the winter.
Part of the STATE x Japan Artisan Series, these styles are crafted by master titanium craftspeople in Japan. We continue with several themes of the STATE x Japan series: marking the tops of bridges with a signature STATE pattern (a deconstructed version of the STATE pyramid), hand-painted enamel accents, titanium nosepads, and ergonomically designed temples. Each style plays with scale to create a unique look.
When strolling down Sedgwick Street in Old Town, you’re looking to see and be seen. This titanium sunglasses with gradient lenses strike just the right note – effortless cool. Hand-painted epoxy details around the eyes and on the temples spotlight the flattering oversized shape. Backside anti-reflective coating protects your eyes from glare and flexible beta-titanium temples are ergonomically designed for comfort.
It’s easy for a quick errand on Kingsbury Street to turn into drinks…lunch…drinks…etc. These sunglasses look fresh no matter the activity. Crafted from a single sheet of titanium, the seamless front of this geometric style offers a smaller fit than a traditional aviator so as not to overwhelm your face. STATE signatures, like the engraved pattern along the top bar and 21-dot pyramid on the temple tips further differentiate the style from other aviators. Backside anti-reflective coating protects your eyes from glare and flexible beta-titanium temples are ergonomically designed for comfort.
